This was a wonderful day to paint. It had been raining all of September and we were unsure if we'd be able to paint outside at all. But on the last day of September, with a forecast of clear for a couple of days, we jumped right in.

We had our little helper Kiki D with us that day, and it made the chore very bright indeed. I can't tell you how enthusiastic she was to help us paint the fence. We gave her the tools, a tiny painting lesson, and she just dove right in like a pro!

With her help, we were able to complete the fence in record time.
